To enroll in LYN-CAG Kidz, visit our enrollment link on our Facebook page and fill out the application form. Once we receive your application, we will contact you to schedule an intake and discuss the next steps.
Our class sizes are small, typically with no more than 17 students per class. This allows for more personalized attention and interaction between students and instructors.
Yes! All Head Start parents must attend an in-person orientation before their child can start attending the program.
Head Start delivers a full range of services through visits with the child's parents, primarily in the child's home, and through group socialization opportunities in a classroom, community facility, or on field trips. Home visits are a required Performance Standard of Head Start and must be done at least twice a year. Your child's environment plays an important part in the success of socialization activities.
A Family Advocate is responsible for working with families to help them realize their strengths and also provide resources to navigate through their weaknesses. Family Advocates engage families in their child/ren’s learning activities and serve as the link between families and community resources. Provide support to families, teachers, staff, and work collaboratively for the well-being of the children and families served.

Being potty trained is not required and the teachers will work with the child throughout the school year to get them potty trained.
Growing learners accepts subsidy and serves ages 2 ½ to 5 years old. Growing Learners also provides before and after school care up to age 8. Growing Learners is an early learning center and provides childcare. Head Start is for ages 3 to 5 years old and is a free service to all those eligible. Head Start does not provide before and after school care.
Our program must design and implement nutrition services that are culturally and developmentally appropriate, meet the nutritional needs of and accommodate the feeding requirements of each child, including children with special dietary needs and children with disabilities. Family style meals are encouraged as described in the performance standards.
