Welcome to LYN-CAG Head Start!

 I am writing to all of you to introduce myself to some and reintroduce myself to others as the director of Lyn CAG Head Start. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve in this role, as I have had the privilege to serve on the local, state, and now the federal level of early education programs. I still remember my first early education experience at a local childcare center, and the excitement I had working with our team to partner with families on goal setting to support their ambitions for stability and self-sufficiency. I believe today, as I did then, that the new approach to early education is the right one for supporting our nation’s most vulnerable children and families.

It is my endeavor to partner with each of you to ensure the children and families we serve are safe and secure while receiving the highest quality services that we can offer because they deserve and so do you. We are not perfect by any means, but we are striving to become a program that is synonymous with excellence in the realm of early education. I would like to seize this moment and say to each family that we serve, “You are valuable, and I would like to thank you for the trust you place in us to educate your children. It means a lot.”

I have an open-door policy and if you ever have a concern that our team of wonderful managers cannot solve please reach out to me. We are here to assist you in any way possible to ensure that your child continues to prosper in their early years of education.
